S I cant get rid out it !!!?

i have been battling headlices on my kids everysince my friend brought her kids over and gave it to mine im at wits end i red somewhere to use mayo so i did seems to work but im afarid they will just come right back like they did when i used to exspensive shampoos i hear using teatree oil shampoo will help prevent them but can u buy that at like wal-mart what can white people put in they hair on a daily basics to keep them away !!!!!

I would, wash all finds of fabrics your kind might use, have them take daily showers, before the showers use alcohol ( Rx) on their hair, ( careful with eyes), then tie a plastic bag over the hair/scalp. After just a few minutes (5), take off the bag, and use a brush, over the sink to get them off, then get them in the shower. This worked really well when my little sister had lice. Good Luck!

you need to clean/ get rid of all the stuff in your house where the lice may be hiding. This includes laundering all of the bedding in the house (use a laundermat and clean out your washer and dryer), throw out hairbrushes, and round up stuffed animals and pillows, and seal them in plastic bags for at least 24 hours to kill any lice that are hanging on. You might even think of having your carpets and furniture steamed.

if you have any pets they probably have it and respread it to yor kids when yo get rid of it . and lice like clean hair so im not saying go rub your kids hair in mud but maybe less showers or baths

I have been wondering something for about hair loss in me for awhile. It seems like any time i see a man who is losing his hair, he always seem to be a young guy with a wife and kids. Also, men who don't lose that much hair or any, always seem to be single into at least middle age. Of course there are exceptions but could having a family cause hair loss or make it worse, maybe through stress?

Hm. My experience is, it doesn't matter. About half of the early-balding guys I know are chronic bachelors. I guess stress could make it worse, considering that my balding friends who are bachelors are also fairly heavy partiers whose bodies take a lot of stress (even if their minds don't).

How can I defrizz my hair?????

I am only a kid and need to have my hair straight for tommorrow! It's school picture day so I was wondering if you could like put honey in your hair or something to defrizz your hair!?!?!?! Please tell me! and don't say "you need to go buy a straightener" because I have one it just make my hair more frizzy though!

How can I defrizz my hair?????

First, wash your hair with warm, NOT hot water. After conditioning, do a final rinse with cold water to seal the hair cuticle. After washing, dry the drips by patting with a towel. Do NOT rub as this will frizz up hair surface. While hair is still pretty wet, put a small (dime size or smaller depending on how long hair is) dab of your conditioner on your palm, then add a couple drops of water and mix. Apply this to your ends (not roots) and brush through. You don't have to put all of it if not needed, just want a thin layer, not goopy. This will act sort of like a frizz cream if you don't have one already.

After you do this, you have to dry it with heat somehow or hair won't seal and will just get frizzy. Since you don't want to use a straightener, you need to blow dry. Pin the top layers of your hair up and start drying the bottom layer first. Use a brush to pull hair taut and dry on high heat, making sure you point the air stream downwards toward the ends of hair. Keep going until all hair in section is COMPLETELY dry. Then loosen another section of hair and keep going. It will take a little time, but you can do it just for picture day.

Tomorrow, if you find your hair is frizzing a little, put a bit of lotion in your hands (a tiny bit!) and smooth over ends and frizzy areas. I hope this helps!!

I would suggest going to buy John Frieda Anti Frizz shampoo and conditioner. It really helps the problem. Also he has a frizz serum that also coats the hair to make it lay flat. Best of luck!!

Age of the bully, size, sex, often there are many reasons while the kid being picked on doesn't fight back. You would huh? Your child would get into serious trouble then. Mature adults would never tell their kids to use violence because they are teased. I agree that at a certain point a kid has to defend himself but as far as teasing, the child has to learn to tell an adult and ignore the bully.

Well, basicly, because I'm 13 like you, there's only 2 things you can do:

1) You can try to talk to someone. Find something in common with anything, like clothing, shoes, make-up, t.v., anything. As long as you have 1 friend, more friends will be easier.

2) This is when there's no possible choice to get friends. This is when there's nothing else works. This is Plan Z. Step 1: Do research on what others would be impressed about. Step 2: Show off when you complete your research. That's it. Show off. This will give you either a positive or negitive result. Positive: All the kids will think you're awsome. Negitive: You'll either be thought of as a wierd-o and have that awfull silence look, and getting friends will be harder. This is if nothing else works.

Should I consider relaxing my hair?

My hair's naturally curly, and I've always thought about relaxing it. I was almost sure of it until I heard all the things people are saying, from the consequenes to the cost. I just wanted an opinion, maybe from someone who's had their hair relaxed and is like me?

My father is white and my mother is black. My hair's not kinky, but it is really curly with tight-ish curls. I really don't like it, that's why I use my flat-iron every day. I don't mean to be offensive, but I just can't learn to love my natural hair!

I've heard of Just For Me Kids, and I was thinking of going with that one, since it's not too harsh.

My daughter has curly hair like you and she wanted to relax it also. We tried relaxing it a few years back and it turned out horrible! I wouldn't recommend it. Also flat ironing it every day is bad for your hair. It will dry it out BAD! Just try new curly hair styles. There is so much you can do with naturally curly hair! Goodluck:-)

NO!!!!!! I have the same hair. We are mixed the same way. Do not, and I repeat do not relax your hair. I will never have the same texture again. I have tried and it is also a huge waist of time. I've even had professionals try, it never works. Not just that brand, but many. You have hair that people pay for. Get a good straightener. I use a Herstyler. It works way better than the Chi. It will also give you the same look as if you were to use a relaxer.

no, you always want what you can't have. It's a lot easier to have curly hair and straighten it then to have straight hair and make it look naturally curly. I used to get relaxers but I stopped. In the long run all it really does is damage your hair. That way you'll have the comfort of knowing you can wear it curly if you want to.

Im tall about 5'11, tan, skinny, brown hair, brown eyes size 14 shoes, im 17 and on weekends I go skimboarding at the beach. My younger brother whos is 14 can lift's weights alot. His way in to weight lifting. On other hand i suck at lifting weights but I do know how to look good and how to treat girls right. My question does it matter to a girl if a guy lifts weights ??? A rather embarassing situation with my 6 year old PLEASE HELP?

Earlier today I had put my 6 year old in the bath and left her to play after washing her hair so that I could go and see to my other kids and when I went back to tell her it was time to get out she was urrrmmm well pleasuring herself (i am trying to be tactfull here). I asked ehr what she was doing and she said its nice then I told her to stop it and get out the bath and I dried her hair and down her back then gave her the towl and told her to go finish getting dried and get dressed and when I went in her room to check to make sure she was getting dressed she was well doing what she had been doing in the bath again. I have been trying to think of a way all day that I can apporach her to discuss this but I cant figure out how to go to go to her with it as I am pretty embarassed by it so can someone suggest a way that worked for you that I might be able to try.

OK, first of all, you need to realize that even if this is "normal" behavior, it is problematic behavior. Any behavior that causes tension between young children and their parents is a big problem. If she were twelve to sixteen, I would approach this differently, but she's six, and for her well being you need to keep things open, but not by allowing this to continue.

At this stage, you need to worry about your relationship with your daughter, not about 'stunting her sexual growth' (she's 6, not 20), because a child who has relationship problems at a young age is at a severe risk for developing Reactive Attachment Disorder (RAD), a very serious disorder that can lead to very serious consequences, inluding the more sever Attachment Disorder (AD), which is the most common link between serial killers. (For those who doubt this, or wish to call me a 'panicker,' send me an e-mail and I will give you my sources, all of which come from qualified professionals)

So those are the risks of putting yourself in an uncomfortable situation that obviously bugs--even if your child never develops RAD, you will still have a gap because you feel the need to clam up and let things develop.

Obviously this is not a desirable outcome, so you should explain to her that 'touching herself' is not an appropriate behavior and she should not do it. Remember that you are the parent, and your child needs to obey you. You need not tolerate repeated disobedience from her.

On the other hand, you could allow her to keep on 'touching herself' for fear of stunting her sexual growth, creating an enormous rift when she is older and more wise about sex. You should know that hormones don't ever, ever help with how we handle sex when we're older. Hormones don't have anything to do with sexual exploration after you're six years old--don't you know that?!? And you should know that it is absolutely not true that children find out about sex from friends and schoolmates--it has never happened and never will (it never happened when you were little, did it?), so you as the parent are absolutely required to explain the intimate details of sex and sexual relationships... obviously. If you do not do this, it is certain that your 6-year-old, who knows nothing about sex, will hate you forever and ever and ever and ever... and ever...

But, seriously, she's 6, if you tell your child not to 'pleasure herself,' there aren't going to be some long term, horrible consequences. My parents did it, and I enjoy my sex life today. They also did it to all of my siblings, and a whopping eight of them are old enough to be sure that their sex life is not adversly effected. I have many friends who were raised in homes where sex was not acceptable, and very few of them have any problems today, and none of them have STDs.

So, right now, it's more important that this doesn't become a splinter between you and your daughter. And she will have a much easier time stopping her actions than you will your emotions.

It's totally normal and age appropriate for her to be doing this. You should tell her that it's normal to do this but she needs to make sure she's alone (which it sounds like she has been doing). As long as you're to the point and calm about it, not making it into a big deal, she won't either. What you don't want to do is try to get her to stop doing it, or make her feel bad about it in any way. This could possibly give her bad feelings about her own sexuality. Just make sure she doesn't flaunt what she's doing and it'll resolve itself!

If you over-react and make a big deal out of this, she will learn to feel shame for it. It is a natural part of life, although there is no set age for this to take place.

My son was doing this in the bath and I simply left the room and started the "knocking" principle. It taught him the bathroom is a place for privacy. It taught me to respect that privacy. After all, we are not changing their diapers anymore.

There is no instruction manual on how to react or handle things like this. In my experience, don't give this any more attention than you need to. If she starts doing this in public, you have reason to get concerned.

Right, first of all, you need to get some real "to do" lists in order if you are up against that much. It's really not as stressful as you're thinking. You just need to be more organized. You sound like you're all over the place!

Make a complete list for your honeymoon and that means everything you are taking. You need to pack a couple of days before the wedding. Anything you won't be using until the day you leave, goes in the bags and everything you can't forget to take or are still using, stays on your list to get crossed off as you're packing the night before or the day of.

If your hair salon is in a different town, I don't see a problem with this. All you need is coordination. Drive time, time at the salon, etc. to be able to get to your ceremony on time. You just need to figure out how long it will take and schedule yourself accordingly.

I don't get the photographer thing. You said he's in a different city. Wouldn't he be coming to you that day? To your ceremony? Or are you having shots taken at a different location? If you are, I would suggest doing that earlier. I wouldn't want to add that kind of stress. I would suggest picking a day for you to both go (wedding dress and all) to have the photography done. If you don't want him to see you in your wedding dress before the ceremony, then plan the shots for later. I'm sorry. It's seems confusing. I'm just not sure what your time line is.

As for the sister %26amp; boyfriend, that sounds like a nightmare! I would tell your Mom flat out before doing anything else, that you do not want them there. Period. This is your wedding. Ok. So I just got back from this Santa's Workshop thing we did at school. There was fake snow everywhere. Like the little powdery stuff. So there were a lot of kids and they made a mess. So after everyone had left, the people who were in leadership and Student Government stayed and cleaned up the mess. There were only two boys there. Dylan and Mason. Dylan is a Sophmore and Mason is a Senior. Mason and I were messing around and I put a handful of the fake snow in his hair. He chased me all over the school until he got me back shoving it down my shirt too. I then went back into the cafeteria and Mason grabbed me by the shoulders and laid me in the snow. Then I got up and grabbed another handful and threw it at Dylan. We spent 20 minutes throwing snow at eachother. We got it in our mouths, hair, clothes, aand nose.....(gross) After we were supposed to be done he still flirted with me and threw the fluffy fake snow at me. We did other things to flirt too. What should I tell him? Thank you

I am leaving my husband and want to know if he is legally obligated to help me with spousal support, even though we are not divorced. Social security statements get maild home a couple times a year. Find your and his. That will establish the history that he is the bread winner.

Find a place to live... with a fmaily member, or whoever. I have several links below that will help you with that... inclduding HUD and Social services.

Contact your local legal aid department. Tell them you want a divorce. The can help you get one. You can also get a put out order %26amp; temporaty custody as you will be the first to file. The important thing here is... he never let you work, he will not provide even cloths for you, and his money is NOT going to support your family. You are afraid for yourself and your children.

While spousal support is a maybe. child support is a definite. You will recieve that. Period.

Yes yes yes...u can get support. And yes she will have a say in where she wants to live.The judge will most likely let her pick where to live due to her age. you need to get a lawyer-in some states you would be able to get spousal support with a court order. As for your daughter most courts will listen to a child that old. This could get ugly so be prepared for him to slander you but his biggest mistake may have been letting you lbe a stay at home mom. Of course now he has set you up because your lifestyle has changed so he can say that you are accustomed to nothing and the support order would pay for nothing-sound slike he is using his money to support his own lavish lifestyle and leaving you and the children out to dry but dont be his victim. The judge will most likely give you time to find a job. Being a homemaker is a huge "job"; it doesn't pay, but I think you will qualify for alimony.

It all depends on what state you live in and what kind of judge you get. In most states, your 13-year-old can chose who to live with. My best suggestion is get a lawyer and get a job. Even if it's just babysitting children in the neighborhood. (this will help with money and look better when you go to court.) If funds are a problem, go down to your local law college and ask for help. They almost always have free legal advice, if not free counsel. More than likely he will have to pay child and spousal support if you have not been working throughout the marriage. Good luck, you'll need it.

If you can get the money together to pay the storage and get it current, you can go into the containers or storage space and collect your treasures. Just take out what you really value, and leave the rest. Then file for divorce, your husband can not take your daughter from you. he has to pay for her support according to how much he makes, he has to pay you spousal support depending on your years married and how much he makes. You will be entitled to 1/2 of the bank acct, and he has to provide you with transportation if you have a minor child. If you own a home he has to refinance and give you half of the equity. so reguardless of what he is telling you, You will certainly leave the marraige with enough to get you started. Then think about what you are good at, and look for a job. managing a home and taking care of a family gives you alot of skills that employers look for. if you know your way around a computer, you can find alot of positions in C/S or Receptionist. You have to remember that when you color your hair that the first thing you need to do is figure out what the naturl pigment is in your hair color. Yours is a red so if you look on the color wheel the color to take that out and neutralize it is green. You need to get a color with an ash to it. I do NOT recommend using to high of a lift ( the numer on the box is its lift) as ash colors can have a tendancy of going to a greyish hue.. I would look for something with an ash or a A on the box. Also if you have a Sally's Beauty Supply where you are at the y are VERY helpfull with picking the right color for you.

Good luck and remember to stop this problem in the future do a strand test on the back of your hair by your neck line to see the final result. It is time consuming but will stop this agravation in the future!

Hair dye picks up natural highlights in your hair. The peroxcide in the dye also causes so red or orange colors.

I use Feria......I actually pick the dark colors with the red or burgendy tints to them and they look great!!!

well from what i have heard...you wont get rid of the red, once it's there it is there. I have colored my hair brown now for the exact same reason. I asked a salon to help. but a color stirp of about $300.00 MIGHT help. Other than that . i had the options of...dark color...or chop it all off.

It does that because of so much bleach and color in your hair.. sadly, there's really no way to get rid of the red tint except for letting your hair grow out and starting over. You're hair needs to go back to normal. To fix your hair, just use regular hair color, no bleach, and wait for it to grow out.

last october 05 we began having a head lice nightmare at our home. our daughters have long and thick hair, especially a teen, and we have been plagued by head lice off and on since. we have purchased probably $500 worth of chemicals, shampooos, sprays, etc. to get rid of these and have done tons of laundry, bought a steamer and steamed almost every surface in the house.

we felt our youngest daughter was getting them on the school bus...is this possible...or are they hiding somewhere in our home.

even when we took a week in Florida and came home, 2 days later they still had them.

school is about to start and we want to get their hair cut and also avoid the first morning of school screening.

my wife is freaking out and gets very embarassed when we publicly are outed as having lice. i know it's not a social thing, but she feels it is. we both grew up with dirty kids who were made to take baths before coming to school and also had shaved heads because of lice problems.

My daughter got them continously in her school..REMEMBER..head lice LOVE CLEAN SCALPS!! You most likely have to get rid of the pillows they have...I replaced pillows cause after a while I believe that head lice are immuned to the RID kits!! My daughter had such thick hair and it came past her butt...she'd get teased..BUT like I reminded her...her head was clean...that's why they picked her hair...I don't think it 's the school bus...I think it's just someone in school...have them NOT share combs, brushes etc...sitting next to someone with them...maybe someone on the bus...but NOT the bus itself!! My daughter is 16 and she no longer goes to the school where the head lice were VERY common...(low income neighborhood)

Let your wife know...I freaked out too!!! Especially when you have to treat EVERYONE in the house...even yourselves!! It's a MAJOR pain!! BUT it has to be done...GOOD LUCK!!!

Did you treat your car with spray? If you cant wash it spray it if it is cloth. Pillows go in dryer on high heat or put in trash bag sealed couple weeks. Stuffed animals go in-trash bags for weeks. Are you retreating too soon that would cause a never ending cycle seen it in daycare mom treated kid 2nd time too soon took month before someone figured that out. Cant get it on bus because seats are plastic not cloth. Unless kids come in contact with kids that have it tell them no hugging others sharing hats etc.. Go to local health department they give stuff away here.

I had this problem when I watched my Friends kids one year and I FEEL for you oka i started to notice that my friends kids shared everything from combs to hair things with everyone we spent about 800 buck my hair was falling out and I said to my soo called friend your kids are not told the proper way to deal with this they need to keep combs hair things away from everyone another thing have them not touch other people's hair what I learned they could be getting it from very clean kids on the block because lice do not like dirty hair they LOVE clean hair .After 3 days the lice should die from lack of food in the store there is an electric lice detector and it's good . Let me be honest have everyone with there own combs and brushes no sharing what so ever and keep it in there own plastic bag . bag everything like there stuffed animals that can't be washed for 2 weeks . Always blow dry your hair so it will not pick up the smells around you. Also maybe buy something like Febreze. Take your shower of morning. Put your socks on as you are leaving and then your shoes. Be sure when you do blow dry that it is totally dry. Keep all litter boxes away from your clothes, coats and backpack and gym bag. We have 2 dogs and 9 cats it's tough! Buy deodorant and some kind of perfume that a young girl like you would like. Don't use too much now. Just a little bit.

After you wash your clothes, fold them up and stick them in a trash back...make sure you tied the trash bag up. This will stop the cat/dog odor from getting on the. Also, instead of taking a shower at night, take one in the morning, right before you leave. You can buy odor eaters for your shoes. You can use baby powder for your body...I think it smells really good.

I would try using products with more of a scent to them. Like for example herbal essence hair products tend to keep your hair smelling good. There are foot sprays too that could help with the foot smell. Maybe keep some scented lotion or body spray in your locker, or purse, and occasionally use some. Or even perfume. Try talking to the family about cleaning up the house. See if it's something you can't work on together. I'm sure if the pets are leaving a 'smell' on you they have it too. Good luck! If you celebrate christmas, maybe ask for a specific perfume you like, or a set from bath and body works. Good luck!

Sometimes it's the food you eat. I can eat onions and it seeps through my pores. If you eat lots of junk food or greasy foods it too can seep through your pores. Keeping clean and dry skin( feet, hands, sweaty areas etc...) with deodorants and baby powder should help some. If you are really concerned, you should see your family doctor for the best advise.

do you eat alot of black pepper or garlic both can come out in your feet and other parts of your body try eliminating them from your diet if the smell goes away remember to buy new shoes.
