MARRIED GUYS: I've lost some extra weight, and I'm getting compliments, but my husband is

What could be the problem? I've not changed much about how I conduct my life (I still maintain the same schedule, though added some biking with the kids) and I've put a few blonde highlights in my long light brown hair. Why would he be acting this way?

Perhaps he liked the extra pounds. Or he could also be feeling threaten if your getting in better shape he may fear other men will start to check you out, perhaps men he might feel inferior to because they are in better shape or better looking then him.

he's worried that he'll lose you. talk to HIM, before he pushes you away.

Losing weight is not a problem, it is a general one. you just adhere to the wordings of your partner, adjust with him and will get everything . Keep confident that you will be getting, it will be done

Men have insecurities too!! He is worried about you becoming a hottie, and him staying the same. Keep giving him attention, seduce him so he knows he still drives you crazy, and make sure to tell him you love him. Try to get a weekend alone to reconnect and maybe ask him if anything is bothering him. For all you know, maybe he just doesn't like the blonde highlights lol, or is not quite used to your new body yet. It may be simple, but in those cases it's usually their insecurities showing through.

He is jealous of you getting attention. You have made improvements to yourself and he is wondering what is going on. Are you doing this to atract other men? Do you still love him? This is some things that he might be thinking. You are getting younger and better looking, he is getting older, fatter, balder, and worn out. Do a couple of things to make him feel wanted and loved and he should come out of his funk.

Your husband is just feeling insecure. If I were him but I'm not, I would very proud of you. So what if guys compiments you, it tells me my wife is sexxxy.

I think everyone already answered the obvious, the male ego is very fragile , sit down with him and tell him how much you love him and your family and asure him nothing is wrong.

You are not doing anyhting wrong and you should be proud of yourself.

Also, is he in good shape? maybe you could encourage him to exercise with you or ride bikes as a family and he may feel better about himself as well. Good luck

after the birth of our daughter, a year goes by and i still carried the extra weight... and he was not ver nice about it..

now it has been two years, i have started to take better care of myself,, and losing weight, changed my hair because i felt like a new change...

all the time he called me fat, he said if he knew i was going to look like this he would not have married me... then i said just wait, i will not look like this forever, and when i am thin again , maybe it is me who will not be attracted to you anymore...

now that i have lost weight, and changed my look and becoming my outgoing self again, i see his insecurtitys coming out....

its just that,, his insecurity.. i would not leave him,,, but i will not let him be mean to me anymore...

Ensure you are not getting too much admirers.

Take care of your husband. it is your husband after all. beat him, love him, kick him, spoil him, but never let him go.

Talk to him to understand his emotion. Perhaps his distance is for some other reason.

MARRIED GUYS: I've lost some extra weight, and I'm getting compliments, but my husband is more distant lately?

I'm not a guy,but I'd like to answer this question:

Married men are more likely to be more jealous, then married women. Although they love their wives very much, they harbor a deep insecurity, that other men are looking at her in a sexual manner. A married man,who has a heavy wife, will often look at a slimmer female. He's not going to pay attention to someone else out there's who's "Fat".

He knows that other men are looking at you too!. Just reassure him, that you've lost the weight for health reasons,to fell good about yourself, and to please him as well.

(Good Luck!)
