i know this is a bit shallow, and i KNOW people are just going to say 'oh, just be YOU!' but i dont care.

i need a label.

at my school, if you're not in a clique, you're no-one.

i have dyed black hair with massive chunks of blonde,

black fingernails, or brightly coloured.

i listen to boys like girls, mayday parade, the rocket summer, scary kids scaring kids, kids in glass houses, paramore, etc.

i wear hoodies, skinny jeans, tighttttttt clothes, and an average amount of black.

lotssss of eyeliner.

i have no proper friends, bcause im not in a clique.

im new at my school, and ive been 'officially offered' a place in a few groups, but i dont know.

please help.

Hey...do you know kids these days just don't go called themselves 'emo, punk, goth' etc? I mean now what's in now is "Stop labeling people!"

I guess sooner or later you will get this because I've seen a LOT of teenager (especially) that goes with the line like that nowadays..maybe because they heard their fav band (who they consider is an emo band) said in interview that "we're not emo! We hate people labeling us!"

So maybe you just go with the flow...because you guys likes to be in a center of attention right? Yeah, maybe you don't but deep down inside you guys dig for it right? Say it loudly and proudly "STOP LABELING ME!"

Yeah! That felt really good....it was even better then when I said that "I'm emo/goth you fag!" a while ago....

"officially offered" ha thats so weird. what happened to just making friends....but umm..i dunno you sound like someone whos punk/scene/emo something along those lines just by the details that you gave. but then again i think its stupid to label people...but hope that helps you "join a group".

if i was you, i'd be whatever i wanted and the other kids would wanna be apart of MY clique. changing for others is lame. but if you WANT a label, i'd call you punk. for real, people want people to be themselves so they can have something interesting to copy. be that person.

untrue. your just not socail... there are cliques at all schools, it doesnt mean you need to be in one.just go on some quiz site and take the "what stereotype are you quiz" theres many...but really no one needs labels

ARE YOU ******* KIDDING ME? lol. oh my god... wait until you get out of highschool....you're going to realise how unbelievably stupid you should. I suggest you screw the highschool girls and meet people other places, you can meet the same people (wearing the same clothes, makeup and lables as the girls at your school) other places, like at a resturant, or at a dance, or a mall, and these people arent going to judge you for what color your shoe laces are. seriously you have no idea how stupid this really is. Hang out with older girls... from another school or somthing, show those girls you can hang out with people better then them and they like you for yourself. seriously if you just... fake to be someone......then theyre really not YOUR friend...theyre the friend of the person your pretending to be. so either way if you get "in" or not... they dont actually like YOU, they like the person your pretending to be
